Privacy Policy

Hero's Life Quest is operated by Core Forge Studios. This policy explains how information is collected, used, and handled when you use the app.

Data We Collect

• Account information: email address, authentication identifier, and account creation details.
• Character data: character names, avatars, profile images, settings, progress, levels, stats, quest progress, routines, radar items, goals, top 10 lists, affirmations, journals, pathways, achievements, and storyline progress.
• Family and recommendation data: family membership references and content recommendations assigned to a character.
• Media selected by the user: profile pictures, custom avatars, and reward images when a user chooses to upload them.
• Usage and progress data: completion records, streaks, and rollups needed to show in-app progress.
• Subscription data: subscription product, household character allowance, trial or subscription status, renewal and expiration information, promotion identifiers, and transaction references supplied by the app store. Core Forge Studios does not receive full payment-card information.
• Diagnostic data: error messages, stack traces, app version, device type, operating system, and related technical details used to diagnose crashes and app failures.

How We Use Data

We use this information to provide the app experience, sync and restore progress across devices, improve reliability, protect accounts, respond to support requests, and process account or data deletion requests.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate and distribute the app:

• Supabase provides authentication, database, and file storage services.
• Expo and EAS provide app build and distribution tooling.
• Sentry provides production crash and error reporting.
• RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase entitlements so household access can be shared across the user's devices.
• Apple and Google provide app distribution and may provide platform crash diagnostics.

Sentry is configured without session replay, screenshots, performance tracing, default personal information, or diagnostic breadcrumbs. Core Forge Studios does not intentionally send character names, journal entries, routines, relationship information, email addresses, or other user-created content to Sentry.

We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, the app, or Core Forge Studios.

Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect user information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Cloud-backed app information is retained while an account remains active. Some information may also be cached locally on a user's device to support app functionality and offline use.

Children and Families

The app includes family-oriented features. A parent or guardian should manage family accounts and content for children. Family managers should only add content and profile information they are allowed to manage.

Account Deletion

Users can request account deletion from Options/Settings in the app or follow the instructions on the account deletion page. When a deletion request is verified, the account and associated personal app data will be deleted within 30 days unless limited retention is legally required or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or unresolved support obligations.

Deleting an app account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple, Google, or another payment provider. Users should cancel through the applicable subscription-management page before deleting the account. Payment providers may retain transaction records for financial, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app or its services change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
